(홍콩=데일리홍콩) 김한국 기자 = 홍콩 통계청(Census & Statistics Department, C&SD)이 사회와 경제 전반의 통계를 보다 쉽게 분석하고 활용할 수 있도록 하는 신규 온라인 플랫폼 ‘대화형 데이터 배포 서비스(Common Interactive Data Dissemination Service, Common-IDDS)’의 베타 버전을 29일 공개했다.
새로 선보인 Common-IDDS는 홍콩의 주요 사회·경제 통계를 하나로 모아 사용자가 관심 주제에 따라 통계를 직접 선택·조합하고, 맞춤형 표와 차트를 간편하게 제작할 수 있는 대화형 통계 플랫폼이다. 직관적인 인터페이스로 구성되어 있으며, 이용자는 각종 사회·경제 지표를 자유롭게 조합해 비교·분석할 수 있다. 또한 생성된 통계 자료는 다양한 오픈데이터 형식으로 다운로드하거나, 응용프로그램 인터페이스(API)를 통해 외부 시스템과 연동도 가능하다.

홍콩 통계청은 “전문가 뿐만 아니라 언론, 기업, 학생, 일반 시민까지 폭넓게 활용할 수 있도록 직관적인 사용자 환경을 구현했다”고 설명했다. 다만 현재의 서비스는 베타 테스트 단계로, 통계청은 사용자 의견을 수렴해 정식 서비스로 발전시킬 계획이다.
